About Fantastical Dragon Phantazmay

Fantastical Dragon Phantazmay is an Effect Monster, printed as RA02-EN013 in 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II (2024) as an Ultimate Rare. At its Level it needs two Tributes to Normal Summon. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II followed in 2024 with another list of tournament staples, again with every card in several rarities. Ungraded, this printing ranks 440th of the 564 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II cards we track. The top card is Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon at €98.17.

Character and collecting appeal

Dragons are the most collected monster Type in Yu-Gi-Oh!, largely thanks to Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes. In play, it is a card for negating cards and effects, Special Summoning and destroying cards. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN013. RA02-EN013 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Ultimate Rare version. Ultimate Rares have embossed artwork, borders and card name. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 7 other printings of Fantastical Dragon Phantazmay: RA02-EN013 Collector's Rare (€4.44), RA02-EN013 Misprint (€23.11), RA02-EN013 Platinum Secret Rare (€0.61), RA02-EN013 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€4.46), RA02-EN013 Secret Rare (€0.62) and RA02-EN013 Super Rare (€0.51), and more. Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

The most valuable is 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II RA02-EN013 Misprint at €23.11.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 58× the ungraded price and 4.7× a PSA 9. That gap is small, so grading fees may outweigh the gain unless the card is for your own collection. Even pack-fresh modern cards can have surface scratches or curling foil, so a 10 is never guaranteed.

Investment potential

In its favour: a price well below its January 2025 peak, which some collectors see as room to recover; an active market (25 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: falling prices, down 81% in a year; large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Treat this as background, not a prediction or financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €0.51 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €6.24. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN013 and the Ultimate Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
