Card Checker questions
How do I check if a PSA card is real?
Enter the certificate number from the label. A genuine slab's number should match the same card, year, set and grade in PSA's registry. If the details don't match the card in the case, or the number isn't found, treat the slab as suspect.
Does a valid cert number prove the slab is genuine?
Not on its own. Counterfeiters sometimes copy real certificate numbers onto fake slabs. Compare the registry photos and details with the card in your hands, and look at the label print, hologram and case for signs of tampering.
Where do the value figures come from?
Monthly prices are based on completed sales recorded by PriceCharting from eBay, TCGplayer and auction houses, converted to euros. "Grade 9" and similar grades cover all graders; "PSA 10" is PSA only.
