About Underworld Goddess of the Closed World

Underworld Goddess of the Closed World is a Link Monster, summoned from the Extra Deck using other monsters as Link Material, printed as RA02-EN045 in 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II (2024) as a Platinum Secret Rare. It is a LIGHT Fiend monster with 3,000 ATK. Its ATK is the 4th highest of the 45 monsters in the set. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II followed in 2024 with another list of tournament staples, again with every card in several rarities. Ungraded, this printing ranks 231st of the 564 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II cards we track. The top card is Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon at €98.17.

Character and collecting appeal

Fiends are one of the largest Types in the game, home to many of its darker and more unusual designs. In play, it is a card for negating cards and effects and Special Summoning. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN045. RA02-EN045 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Platinum Secret Rare version. Platinum Secret Rares are a newer Secret Rare variant with a platinum-coloured finish. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 6 other printings of Underworld Goddess of the Closed World: RA02-EN045 Collector's Rare (€2.45), RA02-EN045 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€7.06), RA02-EN045 Secret Rare (€0.54), RA02-EN045 Super Rare (€0.96), RA02-EN045 Ultimate Rare (€0.96) and RA02-EN045 Ultra Rare (€1.57). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 86.8× the ungraded price and 16.1× a PSA 9. That gap is big enough that grading a sharp, well-centred copy can pay for itself. Modern foils can leave the pack with scratches, print lines or a slight curl, so even fresh copies do not always reach a 10.

Investment potential

In its favour: a price well below its July 2024 peak, which some collectors see as room to recover; an active market (26 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: falling prices, down 59% in a year; large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Treat this as background, not a prediction or financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €1.53 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €8.24. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN045 and the Platinum Secret Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
