Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN004. RA02-EN004 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Ultimate Rare version. Ultimate Rares have embossed artwork, borders and card name. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 6 other printings of Super-Nimble Mega Hamster: RA02-EN004 Collector's Rare (€1.17), RA02-EN004 Platinum Secret Rare (€0.67), RA02-EN004 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€2.14), RA02-EN004 Secret Rare (€0.33), RA02-EN004 Super Rare (€0.36) and RA02-EN004 Ultra Rare (€1.21). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Over the last 12 months ungraded copies are down 72%, and flat in the last month. Its highest monthly ungraded value was €2.18 in June 2024, 83% above today. The most valuable is 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II RA02-EN004 Quarter Century Secret Rare at €2.14.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 79.9× the ungraded price and 5.4× a PSA 9. That gap is small, so grading fees may outweigh the gain unless the card is for your own collection. Modern foils can leave the pack with scratches, print lines or a slight curl, so even fresh copies do not always reach a 10.

Investment potential

In its favour: a price well below its June 2024 peak, which some collectors see as room to recover; an active market (25 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: falling prices, down 72% in a year; large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Treat this as background, not a prediction or financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €0.36 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €5.35. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN004 and the Ultimate Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
