Rindbrumm the Striking Dragon [Collector's Rare] #RA02-EN025 collector guide

About Rindbrumm the Striking Dragon

Rindbrumm the Striking Dragon is a Fusion Monster, made from its Fusion Materials with a card such as Polymerization, printed as RA02-EN025 in 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II (2024) as a Collector's Rare. It is a Level 8 DARK Winged Beast monster with 2,500 ATK and 2,000 DEF. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II followed in 2024 with another list of tournament staples, again with every card in several rarities. Ungraded, this printing ranks 179th of the 564 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II cards we track. The top card is Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon at €98.17.

Character and collecting appeal

Winged Beasts include the Harpie Ladies and many early flying monsters. In play, it is a card for negating cards and effects, banishing cards and Special Summoning. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design. Its Fusion Materials include Fallen of Albaz.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN025. RA02-EN025 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Collector's Rare version. Collector's Rares have a textured holographic finish over the artwork and frame. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 6 other printings of Rindbrumm the Striking Dragon: RA02-EN025 Platinum Secret Rare (€0.49), RA02-EN025 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€5.27), RA02-EN025 Secret Rare (€0.21), RA02-EN025 Super Rare (€0.30), RA02-EN025 Ultimate Rare (€0.33) and RA02-EN025 Ultra Rare (€1.70). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

The most valuable is 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II RA02-EN025 Quarter Century Secret Rare at €5.27.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 19.6× the ungraded price and 4.2× a PSA 9. That gap is small, so grading fees may outweigh the gain unless the card is for your own collection. Modern foils can leave the pack with scratches, print lines or a slight curl, so even fresh copies do not always reach a 10.

Investment potential

In its favour: a price well below its May 2024 peak, which some collectors see as room to recover; an active market (20 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Card prices can fall as well as rise, so this is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €1.91 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €8.91. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN025 and the Collector's Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
