About Number 60: Dugares the Timeless

Number 60: Dugares the Timeless is an Xyz Monster, summoned from the Extra Deck by overlaying monsters of the same Level, printed as RA02-EN037 in 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II (2024) as a Quarter Century Secret Rare. It is a Rank 4 FIRE Fiend monster with 1,200 ATK and 1,200 DEF. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II followed in 2024 with another list of tournament staples, again with every card in several rarities. Ungraded, this printing ranks 26th of the 564 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II cards we track. The top card is Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon at €98.17.

Character and collecting appeal

Fiends are one of the largest Types in the game, home to many of its darker and more unusual designs. In play, it is a card for drawing cards, Special Summoning and discarding. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN037. RA02-EN037 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Quarter Century Secret Rare version. Quarter Century Secret Rares were introduced for the game's 25th anniversary. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 6 other printings of Number 60: Dugares the Timeless: RA02-EN037 Collector's Rare (€2.30), RA02-EN037 Platinum Secret Rare (€1.36), RA02-EN037 Secret Rare (€0.33), RA02-EN037 Super Rare (€0.39), RA02-EN037 Ultimate Rare (€0.39) and RA02-EN037 Ultra Rare (€1.42). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 8.9× the ungraded price and 1.7× a PSA 9. That gap is big enough that grading a sharp, well-centred copy can pay for itself. Even pack-fresh modern cards can have surface scratches or curling foil, so a 10 is never guaranteed.

Investment potential

In its favour: steady demand, with ungraded prices up 17% in a year; an active market (25 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €8.73 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €45.11. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN037 and the Quarter Century Secret Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
