About Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit

Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit is a Tuner, used with other monsters to Synchro Summon, printed as RA02-EN009 in 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II (2024) as a Super Rare. It is a Level 3 LIGHT Psychic monster with 0 ATK and 1,800 DEF. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II followed in 2024 with another list of tournament staples, again with every card in several rarities. Ungraded, this printing ranks 186th of the 564 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II cards we track. The top card is Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon at €98.17.

Character and collecting appeal

Psychics were added in the 5D's era and often trade Life Points for power. Its text is about destroying cards and sending cards to the Graveyard. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN009. RA02-EN009 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Super Rare version. Super Rares have holographic artwork and a plain name. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 6 other printings of Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit: RA02-EN009 Collector's Rare (€3.41), RA02-EN009 Platinum Secret Rare (€4.46), RA02-EN009 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€18.31), RA02-EN009 Secret Rare (€1.00), RA02-EN009 Ultimate Rare (€1.90) and RA02-EN009 Ultra Rare (€1.51). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 20.1× the ungraded price and 4.3× a PSA 9. That gap is small, so grading fees may outweigh the gain unless the card is for your own collection. Even pack-fresh modern cards can have surface scratches or curling foil, so a 10 is never guaranteed.

Investment potential

In its favour: steady demand, with ungraded prices up 18% in a year; an active market (26 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Card prices can fall as well as rise, so this is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €1.80 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €8.33. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN009 and the Super Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
