Character and collecting appeal

Zombies are built around the Graveyard, bringing monsters back again and again. In play, it is a card for negating cards and effects, Special Summoning and discarding. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN015. RA02-EN015 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Super Rare version. Super Rares have holographic artwork and a plain name. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 6 other printings of Ghost Mourner & Moonlit Chill: RA02-EN015 Collector's Rare (€3.52), RA02-EN015 Platinum Secret Rare (€0.86), RA02-EN015 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€4.57), RA02-EN015 Secret Rare (€0.57), RA02-EN015 Ultimate Rare (€1.94) and RA02-EN015 Ultra Rare (€1.25). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 20.8× the ungraded price and 4.2× a PSA 9. That gap is small, so grading fees may outweigh the gain unless the card is for your own collection. Modern foils can leave the pack with scratches, print lines or a slight curl, so even fresh copies do not always reach a 10.

Investment potential

In its favour: steady demand, with ungraded prices up 59% in a year; a price well below its May 2024 peak, which some collectors see as room to recover; an active market (25 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Treat this as background, not a prediction or financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €1.76 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €8.68. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN015 and the Super Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
