Character and collecting appeal
Winged Beasts include the Harpie Ladies and many early flying monsters. In play, it is a card for drawing cards. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.
Version and identification
Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN024. RA02-EN024 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Platinum Secret Rare version. Platinum Secret Rares are a newer Secret Rare variant with a platinum-coloured finish. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 6 other printings of Garura, Wings of Resonant Life: RA02-EN024 Collector's Rare (€6.54), RA02-EN024 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€10.71), RA02-EN024 Secret Rare (€1.80), RA02-EN024 Super Rare (€3.25), RA02-EN024 Ultimate Rare (€2.05) and RA02-EN024 Ultra Rare (€3.91). Grading and population
A PSA 10 sells for 11.8× the ungraded price and 2.4× a PSA 9. That gap is small, so grading fees may outweigh the gain unless the card is for your own collection. Modern foils can leave the pack with scratches, print lines or a slight curl, so even fresh copies do not always reach a 10.
Investment potential
In its favour: steady demand, with ungraded prices up 60% in a year; an active market (25 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Card prices can fall as well as rise, so this is not financial advice.
Before you buy
Expect to pay around €4.36 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €21.67. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN024 and the Platinum Secret Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
