Exosisters Magnifica [Misprint] #RA02-EN038 collector guide

About Exosisters Magnifica

Exosisters Magnifica is an Xyz Monster, summoned from the Extra Deck by overlaying monsters of the same Level, printed as RA02-EN038 in 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II (2024). It is a Rank 8 LIGHT Warrior monster with 2,800 ATK and 2,800 DEF. Its ATK is the 10th highest of the 45 monsters in the set. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II followed in 2024 with another list of tournament staples, again with every card in several rarities. Ungraded, this printing ranks 5th of the 564 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II cards we track, one of the chase cards of the set. The top card is Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon at €98.17.

Character and collecting appeal

Exosister is a modern archetype of Spellcaster sisters, popular with both players and art collectors. In play, it is a card for banishing cards and Special Summoning. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN038. RA02-EN038 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. This is a misprint, priced separately from correctly printed copies. Make sure the listing photos show the error. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 7 other printings of Exosisters Magnifica: RA02-EN038 Collector's Rare (€2.92), RA02-EN038 Platinum Secret Rare (€1.34), RA02-EN038 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€4.62), RA02-EN038 Secret Rare (€0.34), RA02-EN038 Super Rare (€0.44) and RA02-EN038 Ultimate Rare (€0.41), and more. Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly. It was also printed in Magnificent Monsters, which we track separately.

Investment potential

In its favour: it is the original printing, which reprints rarely replace for collectors. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic; thin trading, so selling quickly can mean accepting a lower price. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €33.47 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN038 clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
