Coral Dragon [Misprint] #RA02-EN031 collector guide

About Coral Dragon

Coral Dragon is a Synchro Monster, summoned from the Extra Deck with a Tuner and other monsters whose Levels add up to its own, printed as RA02-EN031 in 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II (2024). It is a Level 6 WATER Dragon monster with 2,400 ATK and 500 DEF. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II followed in 2024 with another list of tournament staples, again with every card in several rarities. Ungraded, this printing ranks 6th of the 564 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II cards we track, one of the chase cards of the set. The top card is Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon at €98.17.

Character and collecting appeal

Dragons are the most collected monster Type in Yu-Gi-Oh!, largely thanks to Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes. Its effect centres on drawing cards, destroying cards and discarding. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN031. RA02-EN031 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. This is a misprint, priced separately from correctly printed copies. Make sure the listing photos show the error. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 7 other printings of Coral Dragon: RA02-EN031 Collector's Rare (€1.24), RA02-EN031 Platinum Secret Rare (€0.36), RA02-EN031 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€1.85), RA02-EN031 Secret Rare (€0.22), RA02-EN031 Super Rare (€0.29) and RA02-EN031 Ultimate Rare (€0.29), and more. Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Price history

Today an ungraded copy of this printing sells for about €28.84. Our monthly prices for it go back to May 2025. Over the last 12 months ungraded copies are unchanged, and flat in the last month. The current price is its high point on our records. Of the 8 printings of Coral Dragon we track, this is the most valuable ungraded. The cheapest is 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II RA02-EN031 Secret Rare at €0.22.

Investment potential

Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic; thin trading, so selling quickly can mean accepting a lower price. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €28.84 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN031 clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
