About Abomination's Prison

Abomination's Prison is a Normal Spell Card, printed as RA02-EN064 in 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II (2024) as an Ultra Rare. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II followed in 2024 with another list of tournament staples, again with every card in several rarities. Ungraded, this printing ranks 367th of the 564 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II cards we track. The top card is Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon at €98.17.

Character and collecting appeal

In play, it is a card for searching the Deck, Special Summoning and destroying cards. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA02-EN064. RA02-EN064 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Ultra Rare version. Ultra Rares have a gold-foil name and holographic artwork. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection II has 6 other printings of Abomination's Prison: RA02-EN064 Collector's Rare (€1.37), RA02-EN064 Platinum Secret Rare (€0.62), RA02-EN064 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€6.65), RA02-EN064 Secret Rare (€0.21), RA02-EN064 Super Rare (€0.22) and RA02-EN064 Ultimate Rare (€0.21). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Investment potential

In its favour: steady demand, with ungraded prices up 28% in a year; a price well below its June 2024 peak, which some collectors see as room to recover. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €0.74 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less. Ask the seller to show the code RA02-EN064 and the Ultra Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
