Orichalcos Sword of Sealing [Starlight Rare] #MAMO-EN022 collector guide

About Orichalcos Sword of Sealing

Orichalcos Sword of Sealing is an Equip Spell Card, printed as MAMO-EN022 in Magnificent Monsters (2026) as a Starlight Rare. Magnificent Monsters is a 2026 set, and its highest rarities include some of the most valuable modern Yu-Gi-Oh! cards we track. Ungraded, this printing ranks 69th of the 220 Magnificent Monsters cards we track. The top card is Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant at €40,161.

Character and collecting appeal

Its text is about negating cards and effects, destroying cards and sending cards to the Graveyard. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read MAMO-EN022. MAMO-EN022 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Starlight Rare version. Starlight Rares have a sparkling holographic finish across the whole card. Magnificent Monsters has 2 other printings of Orichalcos Sword of Sealing: MAMO-EN022 (€0.79) and MAMO-EN022 Secret Rare (€1.22). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Price history

Today an ungraded copy of this printing sells for about €6.66, a PSA 9 for €33.28 and a PSA 10 for €73.55. Our monthly prices for it go back to September 2026. It is trading at or near its highest recorded value. Of the 3 printings of Orichalcos Sword of Sealing we track, this is the most valuable ungraded. The cheapest is Magnificent Monsters MAMO-EN022 at €0.79.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 11× the ungraded price and 2.2× a PSA 9. That gap is big enough that grading a sharp, well-centred copy can pay for itself. Even pack-fresh modern cards can have surface scratches or curling foil, so a 10 is never guaranteed.

Investment potential

In its favour: an active market (25 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Card prices can fall as well as rise, so this is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €6.66 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €33.28. Ask the seller to show the code MAMO-EN022 and the Starlight Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
