About Witchcrafter Madame Verre

Witchcrafter Madame Verre is an Effect Monster, printed as MAMO-EN031 in Magnificent Monsters (2026) as a Starlight Rare. It is a Level 8 LIGHT Spellcaster monster with 1,000 ATK and 2,800 DEF. At its Level it needs two Tributes to Normal Summon. Magnificent Monsters is a 2026 set, and its highest rarities include some of the most valuable modern Yu-Gi-Oh! cards we track. Ungraded, this printing ranks 64th of the 220 Magnificent Monsters cards we track. The top card is Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant at €40,161.

Character and collecting appeal

Spellcasters have been popular since Dark Magician, and the Type has some of the most sought-after artwork in the game. Its text is about negating cards and effects, changing ATK and DEF and discarding. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read MAMO-EN031. MAMO-EN031 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Starlight Rare version. Starlight Rares have a sparkling holographic finish across the whole card. Magnificent Monsters has 2 other printings of Witchcrafter Madame Verre: MAMO-EN031 (€0.16) and MAMO-EN031 Secret Rare (€0.45). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Price history

Its highest monthly ungraded value was €10.63 in September 2026, 24% above today. Of the 3 printings of Witchcrafter Madame Verre we track, this is the most valuable ungraded. The cheapest is Magnificent Monsters MAMO-EN031 at €0.16.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 10.3× the ungraded price and 2.1× a PSA 9. That gap is big enough that grading a sharp, well-centred copy can pay for itself. Even pack-fresh modern cards can have surface scratches or curling foil, so a 10 is never guaranteed.

Investment potential

In its favour: an active market (25 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €8.07 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €40.00. Ask the seller to show the code MAMO-EN031 and the Starlight Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
