Starjunk Synchron [Extended Art] #MAMO-EN008 collector guide

About Starjunk Synchron

Starjunk Synchron is a Tuner, used with other monsters to Synchro Summon, printed as MAMO-EN008 in Magnificent Monsters (2026). It is a Level 3 DARK Warrior monster with 1,300 ATK and 500 DEF. Magnificent Monsters is a 2026 set, and its highest rarities include some of the most valuable modern Yu-Gi-Oh! cards we track. Ungraded, this printing ranks 49th of the 220 Magnificent Monsters cards we track. The top card is Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant at €40,161.

Character and collecting appeal

Synchron monsters are the Tuners Yusei Fudo uses to Synchro Summon in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's. Its effect centres on negating cards and effects, banishing cards and Special Summoning. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read MAMO-EN008. MAMO-EN008 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. This is the Extended Art version, where the artwork runs past the usual frame. Magnificent Monsters has 3 other printings of Starjunk Synchron: MAMO-EN008 (€1.70), MAMO-EN008 Extended Art Grand Master Rare (€2,231) and MAMO-EN008 Extended Art Starlight Rare (€133.85). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Price history

Today an ungraded copy of this printing sells for about €20.16, a PSA 9 for €110.16 and a PSA 10 for €181.70. Our monthly prices for it go back to September 2026. Its highest monthly ungraded value was €26.16 in September 2026, 23% above today. Of the 4 printings of Starjunk Synchron we track, this one ranks 3rd by ungraded value. The most valuable is Magnificent Monsters MAMO-EN008 Extended Art Grand Master Rare at €2,231.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 9× the ungraded price and 1.6× a PSA 9. That gap is big enough that grading a sharp, well-centred copy can pay for itself. Even pack-fresh modern cards can have surface scratches or curling foil, so a 10 is never guaranteed.

Investment potential

In its favour: an active market (26 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €20.16 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €110.16. Ask the seller to show the code MAMO-EN008 clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
