About Malefic Force
Malefic Force is a Normal Trap Card, printed as MAMO-EN024 in Magnificent Monsters (2026) as a Secret Rare. Magnificent Monsters is a 2026 set, and its highest rarities include some of the most valuable modern Yu-Gi-Oh! cards we track. Ungraded, this printing ranks 179th of the 220 Magnificent Monsters cards we track. The top card is Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant at €40,161.
Character and collecting appeal
Its effect centres on clearing the field, banishing cards and searching the Deck. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.
Version and identification
Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read MAMO-EN024. MAMO-EN024 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Secret Rare version. Secret Rares have a rainbow-foil name and diagonal holographic artwork. Magnificent Monsters has 2 other printings of Malefic Force: MAMO-EN024 (€0.35) and MAMO-EN024 Starlight Rare (€1.98). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.
Price history
Today an ungraded copy of this printing sells for about €0.36, a PSA 9 for €5.35 and a PSA 10 for €29.24. Our monthly prices for it go back to September 2026. Its highest monthly ungraded value was €0.49 in September 2026, 27% above today. Of the 3 printings of Malefic Force we track, this one ranks 2nd by ungraded value. The most valuable is Magnificent Monsters MAMO-EN024 Starlight Rare at €1.98.
Grading and population
A PSA 10 sells for 81.2× the ungraded price and 5.5× a PSA 9. That gap is small, so grading fees may outweigh the gain unless the card is for your own collection. Even pack-fresh modern cards can have surface scratches or curling foil, so a 10 is never guaranteed.
Investment potential
In its favour: an active market (25 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Treat this as background, not a prediction or financial advice.
Before you buy
Expect to pay around €0.36 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €5.35. Ask the seller to show the code MAMO-EN024 and the Secret Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
