Favorite HERO Flame Wingman [Extended Art Starlight Rare] #MAMO-EN005 collector guide

About Favorite HERO Flame Wingman

Favorite HERO Flame Wingman is a Fusion Monster, made from its Fusion Materials with a card such as Polymerization, printed as MAMO-EN005 in Magnificent Monsters (2026) as a Starlight Rare. It is a Level 6 WIND Warrior monster with 2,100 ATK and 1,200 DEF. Magnificent Monsters is a 2026 set, and its highest rarities include some of the most valuable modern Yu-Gi-Oh! cards we track. Ungraded, this printing ranks 18th of the 220 Magnificent Monsters cards we track. The top card is Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant at €40,161.

Character and collecting appeal

It is part of the HERO family that Jaden Yuki plays in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. Its text is about Special Summoning, destroying cards and changing ATK and DEF. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read MAMO-EN005. MAMO-EN005 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Starlight Rare version. Starlight Rares have a sparkling holographic finish across the whole card. This is the Extended Art version, where the artwork runs past the usual frame. Magnificent Monsters has 3 other printings of Favorite HERO Flame Wingman: MAMO-EN005 (€2.36), MAMO-EN005 Extended Art (€39.71) and MAMO-EN005 Extended Art Grand Master Rare (€7,838). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 7.2× the ungraded price and 1.4× a PSA 9. That gap is big enough that grading a sharp, well-centred copy can pay for itself. Modern foils can leave the pack with scratches, print lines or a slight curl, so even fresh copies do not always reach a 10.

Investment potential

In its favour: an active market (19 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Treat this as background, not a prediction or financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €202.39 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €1,013. Ask the seller to show the code MAMO-EN005 and the Starlight Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. At this price fakes are worth checking for: genuine cards have a small holographic seal (the Eye of Anubis) in the bottom-right corner, and the font, colours and card back should match a copy you know is genuine. Look up the certificate number of any graded copy on the grading company's website. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
