Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant [Extended Art Grand Master Rare] #MAMO-EN001 collector guide

About Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant

Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant is an Effect Monster, printed as MAMO-EN001 in Magnificent Monsters (2026) as a Grand Master Rare. It is a Level 7 DARK Spellcaster monster with 2,500 ATK and 2,100 DEF. At its Level it needs two Tributes to Normal Summon. Magnificent Monsters is a 2026 set, and its highest rarities include some of the most valuable modern Yu-Gi-Oh! cards we track. This printing is the most valuable ungraded card of the 220 Magnificent Monsters cards we track.

Character and collecting appeal

It belongs to the family of cards built around Dark Magician, Yugi Muto's favourite monster. In play, it is a card for clearing the field, Special Summoning and discarding. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn. Its text names Dark Magician, so collectors often look for them together.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read MAMO-EN001. MAMO-EN001 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Grand Master Rare version. Grand Master Rares are one of the newest and scarcest rarities in the game. This is the Extended Art version, where the artwork runs past the usual frame. Magnificent Monsters has 3 other printings of Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant: MAMO-EN001 (€3.57), MAMO-EN001 Extended Art (€124.45) and MAMO-EN001 Extended Art Starlight Rare (€1,039). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Price history

Today an ungraded copy of this printing sells for about €40,147. Of the 4 printings of Dark Magician, the Pharaoh's Servant we track, this is the most valuable ungraded. The cheapest is Magnificent Monsters MAMO-EN001 at €3.57.

Investment potential

Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic; thin trading, so selling quickly can mean accepting a lower price. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €40,147 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less. Ask the seller to show the code MAMO-EN001 and the Grand Master Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. At this price fakes are worth checking for: genuine cards have a small holographic seal (the Eye of Anubis) in the bottom-right corner, and the font, colours and card back should match a copy you know is genuine. Look up the certificate number of any graded copy on the grading company's website. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
