About Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon

Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon is an Effect Monster, printed as RA03-EN033 in Quarter Century Bonanza (2024) as a Secret Rare. It is a Level 8 FIRE Dragon monster with 3,000 ATK and 2,500 DEF. At its Level it needs two Tributes to Normal Summon. Its ATK is the 6th highest of the 179 monsters in the set. Quarter Century Bonanza, released in late 2024, mixes classic cards from the original series with modern staples, each in several rarities including Quarter Century Secret Rare and Platinum Secret Rare. Ungraded, this printing ranks 583rd of the 968 Quarter Century Bonanza cards we track. The top card is Blue-Eyes White Dragon at €192.99.

Character and collecting appeal

Dragons are the most collected monster Type in Yu-Gi-Oh!, largely thanks to Blue-Eyes and Red-Eyes. Its effect centres on Special Summoning. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA03-EN033. RA03-EN033 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Secret Rare version. Secret Rares have a rainbow-foil name and diagonal holographic artwork. Quarter Century Bonanza has 6 other printings of Snake-Eyes Flamberge Dragon: RA03-EN033 Collector's Rare (€2.01), RA03-EN033 Platinum Secret Rare (€2.27), RA03-EN033 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€0.22), RA03-EN033 Super Rare (€0.17), RA03-EN033 Ultimate Rare (€0.18) and RA03-EN033 Ultra Rare (€0.18). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

The most valuable is Quarter Century Bonanza RA03-EN033 Platinum Secret Rare at €2.27.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 23.4× the ungraded price and 2.7× a PSA 9. That gap is small, so grading fees may outweigh the gain unless the card is for your own collection. Even pack-fresh modern cards can have surface scratches or curling foil, so a 10 is never guaranteed.

Investment potential

In its favour: an active market (27 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: falling prices, down 12% in a year; large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €1.52 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €13.37. Ask the seller to show the code RA03-EN033 and the Secret Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
