Ryu-Kishin is a Normal Monster, with flavour text instead of an effect, printed as SDK-003 in Starter Deck: Kaiba (2002) as a Common. It is a Level 3 DARK Fiend monster with 1,000 ATK and 500 DEF. Starter Deck: Kaiba was one of the two pre-built decks that launched the English game in 2002, built around Seto Kaiba and his Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Character and collecting appeal

Fiends are one of the largest Types in the game, home to many of its darker and more unusual designs. Normal Monsters like this one are mostly collected for their art and to complete the set.

This guide covers the Unlimited printing, without the "1st Edition" text below the artwork. 1st Edition copies of the same card have their own, usually higher, prices. Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read SDK-003. The code SDK-003, without a language letter, marks the original North American printing. European English copies have an E in the code, such as SDK-E003, and are priced separately. It is the Common version. Commons have a plain name and no foil. Today an ungraded copy of this printing sells for about €0.54, a PSA 9 for €6.24 and a PSA 10 for €57.33. Our monthly prices for it go back to October 2021.
