Character and collecting appeal

Warriors are one of the oldest and largest Types, and have had support in almost every era of the game. Its effect centres on sending cards to the Graveyard.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA03-EN002. RA03-EN002 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Quarter Century Secret Rare version. Quarter Century Secret Rares were introduced for the game's 25th anniversary. Quarter Century Bonanza has 6 other printings of Armageddon Knight: RA03-EN002 Collector's Rare (€0.70), RA03-EN002 Platinum Secret Rare (€3.09), RA03-EN002 Secret Rare (€0.89), RA03-EN002 Super Rare (€0.35), RA03-EN002 Ultimate Rare (€0.75) and RA03-EN002 Ultra Rare (€0.29). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Price history

Today an ungraded copy of this printing sells for about €11.98, a PSA 9 for €33.88 and a PSA 10 for €95.74. Our monthly prices for it go back to November 2024. Over the last 12 months ungraded copies are up 162%, and up 1% in the last month. The current price is its high point on our records. PSA 10 copies have moved up 77% over the same 12 months. Of the 7 printings of Armageddon Knight we track, this is the most valuable ungraded. The cheapest is Quarter Century Bonanza RA03-EN002 Ultra Rare at €0.29.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 8× the ungraded price and 2.8× a PSA 9. That gap is big enough that grading a sharp, well-centred copy can pay for itself. Modern foils can leave the pack with scratches, print lines or a slight curl, so even fresh copies do not always reach a 10.

Investment potential

In its favour: steady demand, with ungraded prices up 162% in a year; an active market (27 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €11.98 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €33.88. Ask the seller to show the code RA03-EN002 and the Quarter Century Secret Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
