About Maryokutai

Maryokutai is an Effect Monster, printed as LON-E076 in Labyrinth of Nightmare (2003) as a Common. It is a Level 3 WATER Aqua monster with 900 ATK and 900 DEF. Labyrinth of Nightmare arrived in early 2003 and is best remembered for Torrential Tribute, Magic Cylinder, Gemini Elf and Dark Necrofear.

Character and collecting appeal

Aqua monsters often work with water Field Spells such as Umi. In play, it is a card for negating cards and effects and destroying cards. It has a Quick Effect, so it can also be used during the opponent's turn. The Last Warrior from Another Planet mentions Maryokutai in its text, which keeps it relevant.
