Gemini Elf #LON-EN000

Gemini Elf #LON-EN000 collector guide

About Gemini Elf

Gemini Elf is a Normal Monster, with flavour text instead of an effect, printed as LON-EN000 in Labyrinth of Nightmare (2003) as a Secret Rare. It is a Level 4 EARTH Spellcaster monster with 1,900 ATK and 900 DEF. Labyrinth of Nightmare arrived in early 2003 and is best remembered for Torrential Tribute, Magic Cylinder, Gemini Elf and Dark Necrofear. Ungraded, this printing ranks 7th of the 331 Labyrinth of Nightmare cards we track, one of the chase cards of the set. The top card is Torrential Tribute at €92.89.

Character and collecting appeal

Gemini Elf was the go-to Level 4 attacker of 2003: 1900 ATK, no effect and no Tribute needed. As a Normal Monster it is collected for its artwork and its spot in the set rather than for play.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read LON-EN000. The EN in LON-EN000 marks a later English printing, made after Konami moved every English card to EN codes. Copies with the original LON-000 code are a different printing. It is the Secret Rare version. Secret Rares have a rainbow-foil name and diagonal holographic artwork. Labyrinth of Nightmare has 4 other printings of Gemini Elf: LON-000 (€21.37), LON-000 1st Edition (€68.16), LON-E000 (€16.18) and LON-E000 1st Edition (€39.54). Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly. It was also printed in Quarter Century Bonanza, which we track separately.

Price history

Today an ungraded copy of this printing sells for about €41.81, a PSA 9 for €227.12 and a PSA 10 for €1,879. Our monthly prices for it go back to September 2026. Its highest monthly ungraded value was €82.92 in September 2026, 50% above today. Of the 7 printings of Gemini Elf we track, this one ranks 2nd by ungraded value. The most valuable is Labyrinth of Nightmare LON-000 1st Edition at €68.16.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 44.9× the ungraded price and 8.3× a PSA 9. That gap is big enough that grading a sharp, well-centred copy can pay for itself. Early English Yu-Gi-Oh! cards often have off-centre cuts and wear on the dark brown back borders, which is why high grades are hard to reach.

Investment potential

In its favour: a price well below its September 2026 peak, which some collectors see as room to recover; it comes from the first years of the English game, which are no longer printed; lasting fame from the anime or the competitive game; it is the original printing, which reprints rarely replace for collectors. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €41.81 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €227.12. Ask the seller to show the code LON-EN000 and the Secret Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. At this price fakes are worth checking for: genuine cards have a small holographic seal (the Eye of Anubis) in the bottom-right corner, and the font, colours and card back should match a copy you know is genuine. Look up the certificate number of any graded copy on the grading company's website. Cards from 2003 often show white wear on the back edges and corners, so ask for photos of the back before you buy.
