About Bio-Mage
Bio-Mage is a Normal Monster, with flavour text instead of an effect, printed as LON-EN043 in Labyrinth of Nightmare (2003) as a Common. It is a Level 3 LIGHT Fairy monster with 1,150 ATK and 1,000 DEF. Labyrinth of Nightmare arrived in early 2003 and is best remembered for Torrential Tribute, Magic Cylinder, Gemini Elf and Dark Necrofear.
Character and collecting appeal
Fairies are known for their light, angelic artwork and for cards that protect Life Points. With no effect, its appeal is its artwork, its stats and its place in Labyrinth of Nightmare.
Version and identification
Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read LON-EN043. The EN in LON-EN043 marks a later English printing, made after Konami moved every English card to EN codes. Copies with the original LON-043 code are a different printing. It is the Common version. Commons have a plain name and no foil. Labyrinth of Nightmare has 4 other printings of Bio-Mage: LON-043 (€0.14), LON-043 1st Edition (€0.15), LON-E043 and LON-E043 1st Edition. Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.
Price history
There are no recent sales of this printing of Bio-Mage yet, so we cannot give it a value.
Investment potential
In its favour: it comes from the first years of the English game, which are no longer printed. Card prices can fall as well as rise, so this is not financial advice.
Before you buy
Ask the seller to show the code LON-EN043 and the Common finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Cards from 2003 often show white wear on the back edges and corners, so ask for photos of the back before you buy.
