Character and collecting appeal

Warriors are one of the oldest and largest Types, and have had support in almost every era of the game. Its effect centres on Special Summoning and discarding. Its once-per-turn limits are typical of modern card design.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA01-EN004. RA01-EN004 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. This is a misprint, priced separately from correctly printed copies. Make sure the listing photos show the error. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection has 7 other printings of Vision HERO Faris: RA01-EN004 Collector's Rare (€2.05), RA01-EN004 Platinum Secret Rare (€1.43), RA01-EN004 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€10.60), RA01-EN004 Secret Rare (€0.40), RA01-EN004 Super Rare (€1.34) and RA01-EN004 Ultimate Rare (€1.84), and more. Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Investment potential

Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic; thin trading, so selling quickly can mean accepting a lower price. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €17.63 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less. Ask the seller to show the code RA01-EN004 clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
