Version and identification
Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA01-EN056. RA01-EN056 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. This is a misprint, priced separately from correctly printed copies. Make sure the listing photos show the error. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection has 7 other printings of Pot of Desires: RA01-EN056 Collector's Rare (€4.52), RA01-EN056 Platinum Secret Rare (€4.02), RA01-EN056 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€17.12), RA01-EN056 Secret Rare (€1.46), RA01-EN056 Super Rare (€1.51) and RA01-EN056 Ultimate Rare (€2.99), and more. Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Investment potential
Against it: falling prices, down 31% in a year; large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic; thin trading, so selling quickly can mean accepting a lower price. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.
Before you buy
Expect to pay around €17.83 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less. Ask the seller to show the code RA01-EN056 clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
