About Ghostrick Angel of Mischief

Ghostrick Angel of Mischief is an Xyz Monster, summoned from the Extra Deck by overlaying monsters of the same Level, printed as RA01-EN036 in 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection (2023) as a Secret Rare. It is a Rank 4 DARK Fairy monster with 2,000 ATK and 2,500 DEF. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection marked the game's 25th anniversary in 2023 by reprinting popular cards, each in several rarities up to the Quarter Century Secret Rare. Ungraded, this printing ranks 580th of the 587 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection cards we track. The top card is Ghost Belle & Haunted Mansion at €51.83.

Character and collecting appeal

Fairies are known for their light, angelic artwork and for cards that protect Life Points. In play, it is a card for an alternative way to win the duel and searching the Deck.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA01-EN036. RA01-EN036 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. It is the Secret Rare version. Secret Rares have a rainbow-foil name and diagonal holographic artwork. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection has 7 other printings of Ghostrick Angel of Mischief: RA01-EN036 Collector's Rare (€2.18), RA01-EN036 Misprint (€13.39), RA01-EN036 Platinum Secret Rare (€0.76), RA01-EN036 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€6.21), RA01-EN036 Super Rare (€1.01) and RA01-EN036 Ultimate Rare (€2.03), and more. Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 328× the ungraded price and 12.9× a PSA 9. That gap is big enough that grading a sharp, well-centred copy can pay for itself. Modern foils can leave the pack with scratches, print lines or a slight curl, so even fresh copies do not always reach a 10.

Investment potential

In its favour: a price well below its May 2024 peak, which some collectors see as room to recover; an active market (28 recent completed sales), so it is easy to sell. Against it: falling prices, down 81% in a year; large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €0.21 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €5.35. Ask the seller to show the code RA01-EN036 and the Secret Rare finish clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
