Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA01-EN072. RA01-EN072 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. This is a misprint, priced separately from correctly printed copies. Make sure the listing photos show the error. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection has 7 other printings of Dimensional Barrier: RA01-EN072 Collector's Rare (€3.57), RA01-EN072 Platinum Secret Rare (€2.56), RA01-EN072 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€2.80), RA01-EN072 Secret Rare (€0.48), RA01-EN072 Super Rare (€1.73) and RA01-EN072 Ultimate Rare (€4.47), and more. Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly.

Investment potential

Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic; thin trading, so selling quickly can mean accepting a lower price. Card prices can fall as well as rise, so this is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €8.60 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less. Ask the seller to show the code RA01-EN072 clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
