In play, it is a card for returning cards to the hand or Deck.

Version and identification

Check the code printed below the artwork on the right: it should read RA01-EN069. RA01-EN069 is the English printing. Other languages use their own letters in place of EN, such as DE or FR, and are priced separately. This is a misprint, priced separately from correctly printed copies. Make sure the listing photos show the error. 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection has 7 other printings of Compulsory Evacuation Device: RA01-EN069 Collector's Rare (€2.70), RA01-EN069 Platinum Secret Rare (€1.94), RA01-EN069 Quarter Century Secret Rare (€6.25), RA01-EN069 Secret Rare (€0.49), RA01-EN069 Super Rare (€0.98) and RA01-EN069 Ultimate Rare (€2.40), and more. Each has its own price, so match the code, edition and rarity exactly. It was also printed in Invasion of Chaos, which we track separately.

Investment potential

Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic; reprints in another set, which keep playable copies easy to find; thin trading, so selling quickly can mean accepting a lower price. Treat this as background, not a prediction or financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €17.83 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less. Ask the seller to show the code RA01-EN069 clearly in the photos, as listing titles often mix up printings. Modern foils can be scratched or curled straight from the pack, so check the surface under a light if you plan to grade.
