Vivid Voltage Booster Bundle guide

What's inside the Vivid Voltage Booster Bundle

The Vivid Voltage Booster Bundle bundles 6 booster packs of Vivid Voltage together, without the extras of an Elite Trainer Box.

About Vivid Voltage

Introduced Amazing Rares and the giant Pikachu VMAX. Released on 13 November 2020, it belongs to the Sword & Shield era, when the collecting boom pushed print runs to record levels. 6 years on, most of its sealed stock has long been opened, and unopened product mostly changes hands between collectors.

Vivid Voltage has 185 cards in its main numbering, plus 18 secret rares numbered beyond it.

The cards a Vivid Voltage Booster Bundle can hold

The Vivid Voltage cards collectors most want to pull are Pikachu VMAX and Pikachu V. 6 packs gives a few chances at them for less than a larger box.

Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 18 Secret Rares, 6 Amazing Rares and 20 Ultra Rares. See every Vivid Voltage card price for what each is worth.

Vivid Voltage Booster Bundle as an investment

Older sealed product tends to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks, and Vivid Voltage is now 6 years past release. Its price still depends on demand for its chase cards and on any reprints. Bundles are newer and less collected than boxes or ETBs, so they are mostly bought to open. Much of its sealed value rests on demand for Pikachu VMAX and Pikachu V: if those cards rise, unopened product usually follows.

Past prices do not guarantee future ones, and this is not financial advice. Read should you buy sealed Pokémon products? for the pros and cons.

Before you buy

Check the shrink wrap: factory wrap on booster bundles has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it, and loose or glossy wrap can mean a resealed product. Some bundles are sold as loose packs in a bag, so check the photos show the factory-wrapped bundle. Check whether delivery from abroad adds import fees, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
