What's inside the Unseen Forces Booster Pack
One sealed Unseen Forces Booster Pack contains a random selection of 9 to 11 cards, with at least one rare, all from Unseen Forces.
About Unseen Forces
A Johto-themed EX set with Gold Star legendaries and a full Unown subset. Released on 22 August 2005, it belongs to the EX, Diamond & Pearl and HeartGold SoulSilver years, whose sealed product is now scarce. It came out 21 years ago, so most sealed stock has been opened and what is left sits with collectors.
Unseen Forces has 115 cards in its main numbering, plus 2 secret rares numbered beyond it.
The cards an Unseen Forces Booster Pack can hold
The Unseen Forces cards collectors most want to pull are Lugia ex and Ho-Oh ex. Any one pack can hold them, but most packs will not: buying the single card is usually cheaper than opening for it.
Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 52 Rares. Prices for every card are on the Unseen Forces set page.

There are 2 matching listings on eBay at the moment (ebay.co.uk from €1,371, ebay.com from €4,450). The lowest total with delivery to Germany is €1,371, against a typical asking price of €2,910.
Bear in mind these are asking prices rather than sold prices: sellers at the top of the range often accept offers or wait a long time to sell.
Is the Unseen Forces Booster Pack a good investment?
After 21 years, sealed Unseen Forces booster packs rarely come up, and prices tend to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks. Single packs are the easiest to resell but also the most likely to have been searched or weighed. Watch the price of Lugia ex, the set's headline card, since sealed Unseen Forces tends to move with it.
None of this is financial advice: sealed prices can fall as well as rise. Our guide should you buy sealed Pokémon products? weighs up both sides.
Before you buy
Look closely at the wrapping in the photos. Factory wrap on packs is tight and crimped evenly at both ends; baggy, shiny or uneven wrap is a common sign of a reseal. For an Unseen Forces Booster Pack at around €2,910, ask the seller for photos of all sides and stick to accounts with plenty of positive feedback. Avoid "weighed" or searched packs from bulk sellers: some sellers weigh packs to pull the holos out first. For product this old, ask whether it has been checked by an authenticator: fakes and resealed vintage boxes are made to fool buyers. Compare the total with delivery, not just the price, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
