A sealed Unseen Forces Booster Box holds 36 sealed booster packs from Unseen Forces, the full display a shop would open to sell packs one by one.
About Unseen Forces
A Johto-themed EX set with Gold Star legendaries and a full Unown subset. Released on 22 August 2005, it belongs to the EX, Diamond & Pearl and HeartGold SoulSilver years, whose sealed product is now scarce. It came out 21 years ago, so most sealed stock has been opened and what is left sits with collectors.
Unseen Forces has 115 cards in its main numbering, plus 2 secret rares numbered beyond it.
What collectors open Unseen Forces for
The Unseen Forces cards collectors most want to pull are Lugia ex and Ho-Oh ex. With 36 packs, a box gives you the most chances at them of any sealed product, though no box is guaranteed to hold any one card.
Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 52 Rares. Prices for every card are on the Unseen Forces set page.
Is the Unseen Forces Booster Box a good investment?
After 21 years, sealed Unseen Forces booster boxes rarely come up, and prices tend to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks. Booster boxes are the sealed product most collectors hold long term, as they are easy to store and to value. Watch the price of Lugia ex, the set's headline card, since sealed Unseen Forces tends to move with it.
Past prices do not guarantee future ones, and this is not financial advice. Read should you buy sealed Pokémon products? for the pros and cons.
Before you buy
Look closely at the wrapping in the photos. Factory wrap on booster boxes has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it; baggy, shiny or uneven wrap is a common sign of a reseal. A full box gives better odds than loose packs, and its value as a sealed item is easier to judge (how to value a sealed booster box). For product this old, ask whether it has been checked by an authenticator: fakes and resealed vintage boxes are made to fool buyers. Check whether delivery from abroad adds import fees, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
