Dragon Majesty Booster Pack guide

What's inside the Dragon Majesty Booster Pack

One sealed Dragon Majesty Booster Pack contains 10 cards, with at least one rare, all from Dragon Majesty.

Dragon Majesty is a special set, so its packs were mostly sold inside Elite Trainer Boxes, bundles and collections rather than from a booster box, and loose packs are usually taken from those.

About Dragon Majesty

A special Dragon-type set with no booster box, sold in Elite Trainer Boxes, boxes and blisters. Released on 7 September 2018, it belongs to the Sun & Moon era. It came out 8 years ago, so most sealed stock has been opened and what is left sits with collectors.

Dragon Majesty has 70 cards in its main numbering, plus 8 secret rares numbered beyond it.

The cards a Dragon Majesty Booster Pack can hold

The Dragon Majesty cards collectors most want to pull are Ultra Necrozma GX, Switch Raft, Fiery Flint, Dragon Talon and White Kyurem GX. Any one pack can hold them, but most packs will not: buying the single card is usually cheaper than opening for it.

Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 8 Secret Rares, 12 Ultra Rares and 12 Rares. Prices for every card are on the Dragon Majesty set page.

Is the Dragon Majesty Booster Pack a good investment?

Older sealed product tends to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks, and Dragon Majesty is now 8 years past release. Its price still depends on demand for its chase cards and on any reprints. Single packs are the easiest to resell but also the most likely to have been searched or weighed. Watch the price of Ultra Necrozma GX, the set's headline card, since sealed Dragon Majesty tends to move with it.

Past prices do not guarantee future ones, and this is not financial advice. Read should you buy sealed Pokémon products? for the pros and cons.

Before you buy

Look closely at the wrapping in the photos. Factory wrap on packs is tight and crimped evenly at both ends; baggy, shiny or uneven wrap is a common sign of a reseal. For a Dragon Majesty Booster Pack at around €162.20, ask the seller for photos of all sides and stick to accounts with plenty of positive feedback. Avoid "weighed" or searched packs from bulk sellers: some sellers weigh packs to pull the holos out first. Check whether delivery from ebay.com adds import fees, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
