Supreme Victors Booster Box guide

What's inside the Supreme Victors Booster Box

Each Supreme Victors Booster Box is a factory-sealed display of 36 sealed booster packs, every one of them from Supreme Victors.

About Supreme Victors

More Pokémon SP, now from Champions and Frontier Brains, including the much-played Garchomp C. Released on 19 August 2009, it belongs to the EX, Diamond & Pearl and HeartGold SoulSilver years, whose sealed product is now scarce. 17 years on, most of its sealed stock has long been opened, and unopened product mostly changes hands between collectors.

Supreme Victors has 147 cards in its main numbering, plus 6 secret rares numbered beyond it.

The cards a Supreme Victors Booster Box can hold

The Supreme Victors cards collectors most want to pull are Garchomp C LV.X. With 36 packs, a box gives you the most chances at them of any sealed product, though no box is guaranteed to hold any one card.

Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 7 LV.X, 14 Holo Rares and 40 Rares. See every Supreme Victors card price for what each is worth.

Asking prices are what sellers hope to get, not what booster boxes actually sell for, so treat the cheapest listing as the benchmark for a fair deal.

Supreme Victors Booster Box as an investment

After 17 years, sealed Supreme Victors booster boxes rarely come up, and prices tend to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks. Booster boxes are the sealed product most collectors hold long term, as they are easy to store and to value. Much of its sealed value rests on demand for Garchomp C LV.X: if those cards rise, unopened product usually follows.

Past prices do not guarantee future ones, and this is not financial advice. Read should you buy sealed Pokémon products? for the pros and cons.

Before you buy

Check the shrink wrap: factory wrap on booster boxes has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it, and loose or glossy wrap can mean a resealed product. At €112,159 it is worth asking for photos of every side and buying from sellers with a long, positive history, since resealed and weighed product is common. A full box gives better odds than loose packs, and its value as a sealed item is easier to judge (how to value a sealed booster box). For product this old, ask whether it has been checked by an authenticator: fakes and resealed vintage boxes are made to fool buyers. Check whether delivery from ebay.com adds import fees, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
