Scarlet & Violet Booster Bundle guide

What's inside the Scarlet & Violet Booster Bundle

The Scarlet & Violet Booster Bundle bundles 6 booster packs of Scarlet & Violet together, without the extras of an Elite Trainer Box.

About Scarlet & Violet

Opened the Scarlet & Violet series, bringing back lowercase Pokémon ex and introducing Special Illustration Rares. Released on 31 March 2023, it belongs to the Scarlet & Violet era. Shops have mostly moved on to newer sets, so sealed stock now comes mainly from resellers.

Scarlet & Violet has 198 cards in its main numbering, plus 60 secret rares numbered beyond it.

What collectors open Scarlet & Violet for

The Scarlet & Violet cards collectors most want to pull are Miraidon ex, Koraidon ex and Gardevoir ex. 6 packs gives a few chances at them for less than a larger box.

Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 6 Hyper Rares, 10 Special Illustration Rares and 24 Illustration Rares. See every Scarlet & Violet card price for what each is worth.

Scarlet & Violet Booster Bundle as an investment

Scarlet & Violet is out of its main print run, the stage where sealed prices often start to move, but modern sets are printed in large numbers and can be reprinted. Bundles are newer and less collected than boxes or ETBs, so they are mostly bought to open. Much of its sealed value rests on demand for Miraidon ex and Koraidon ex: if those cards rise, unopened product usually follows.

Only buy a Scarlet & Violet Booster Bundle to hold if you are happy to keep it either way, as prices can fall too. This is not financial advice; see should you buy sealed Pokémon products?

Before you buy

Check the shrink wrap: factory wrap on booster bundles has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it, and loose or glossy wrap can mean a resealed product. Some bundles are sold as loose packs in a bag, so check the photos show the factory-wrapped bundle. Always compare totals with delivery included, and keep sealed product away from sunlight, heat and damp once it arrives.
