Rebel Clash Booster Box guide

What's inside the Rebel Clash Booster Box

Each Rebel Clash Booster Box is a factory-sealed display of 36 sealed booster packs, every one of them from Rebel Clash.

About Rebel Clash

The second Sword & Shield set, with Dragapult VMAX and Toxtricity VMAX. Released on 1 May 2020, it belongs to the Sword & Shield era, when the collecting boom pushed print runs to record levels. 6 years on, most of its sealed stock has long been opened, and unopened product mostly changes hands between collectors.

Rebel Clash has 192 cards in its main numbering, plus 17 secret rares numbered beyond it.

What collectors open Rebel Clash for

The Rebel Clash cards collectors most want to pull are Dragapult VMAX and Toxtricity VMAX. With 36 packs, a box gives you the most chances at them of any sealed product, though no box is guaranteed to hold any one card.

Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 17 Secret Rares, 18 Ultra Rares and 7 VMAX. See every Rebel Clash card price for what each is worth.

Rebel Clash Booster Box price today

Right now the cheapest Rebel Clash Booster Box on eBay costs €289.75 including delivery to Germany, and the typical asking price across 15 listings is €556.49 (ebay.co.uk from €289.75, ebay.com from €389.37).

Asking prices are what sellers hope to get, not what booster boxes actually sell for, so treat the cheapest listing as the benchmark for a fair deal.

Price per pack

At the typical price, each of the 36 packs in a Rebel Clash Booster Box works out at €15.46, compared with €30.16 in a Rebel Clash Booster Pack and €46.73 in a Rebel Clash Elite Trainer Box. That makes it the cheapest way to buy Rebel Clash packs sealed right now.

Rebel Clash Booster Box as an investment

Older sealed product tends to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks, and Rebel Clash is now 6 years past release. Its price still depends on demand for its chase cards and on any reprints. Booster boxes are the sealed product most collectors hold long term, as they are easy to store and to value. Much of its sealed value rests on demand for Dragapult VMAX and Toxtricity VMAX: if those cards rise, unopened product usually follows.

Past prices do not guarantee future ones, and this is not financial advice. Read should you buy sealed Pokémon products? for the pros and cons.

Before you buy

Check the shrink wrap: factory wrap on booster boxes has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it, and loose or glossy wrap can mean a resealed product. At €556.49 it is worth asking for photos of every side and buying from sellers with a long, positive history, since resealed and weighed product is common. A full box gives better odds than loose packs, and its value as a sealed item is easier to judge (how to value a sealed booster box). Check whether delivery from ebay.co.uk adds import fees, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
