Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box

Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box guide

What's inside the Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box

Inside a sealed Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box you get 9 booster packs plus card sleeves, energy cards, dice, condition markers and a storage box. The packs are all Prismatic Evolutions.

Pokémon Center exclusive ETBs come with extra packs and a stamped promo and sell for more, so they are left out of the prices here.

Prismatic Evolutions is a special set with no regular booster box, so elite trainer boxes are one of the main ways to buy it sealed.

About Prismatic Evolutions

A special set of the Eevee evolutions, with Poké Ball and Master Ball pattern cards. Demand far outran supply at release. Released on 17 January 2025, it belongs to the Scarlet & Violet era. It is still a current set, so shops keep restocking it and prices are set by retail supply.

Prismatic Evolutions has 131 cards in its main numbering, plus 49 secret rares numbered beyond it.

What collectors open Prismatic Evolutions for

The Prismatic Evolutions cards collectors most want to pull are Umbreon ex, Sylveon ex, Espeon ex and Eevee ex. 9 packs is a modest number of tries, so most ETBs are bought to collect or keep sealed rather than to chase one card.

Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 5 Hyper Rares, 32 Special Illustration Rares and 12 Ultra Rares. See every Prismatic Evolutions card price for what each is worth.

Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box price today

Bear in mind these are asking prices rather than sold prices: sellers at the top of the range often accept offers or wait a long time to sell.

Price per pack

At the typical price, each of the 9 packs in a Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box works out at €20.05, compared with €18.52 in a Prismatic Evolutions Booster Bundle and €48.64 in a Prismatic Evolutions Booster Pack. That makes it mid-priced among Prismatic Evolutions sealed products.

Prismatic Evolutions Elite Trainer Box as an investment

Modern sealed product is printed in large numbers and is often reprinted, so Prismatic Evolutions elite trainer boxes can stay flat or fall for years before supply dries up. ETBs are popular to keep sealed because of their box art, but they take more space than they hold in packs. Much of its sealed value rests on demand for Umbreon ex and Sylveon ex: if those cards rise, unopened product usually follows.

None of this is financial advice: sealed prices can fall as well as rise. Our guide should you buy sealed Pokémon products? weighs up both sides.

Before you buy

Check the shrink wrap: factory wrap on elite trainer boxes has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it, and loose or glossy wrap can mean a resealed product. At €180.48 it is worth asking for photos of every side and buying from sellers with a long, positive history, since resealed and weighed product is common. Check the listing photos show the ETB itself and not only the packs, and that it is the standard version rather than a Pokémon Center one if you are comparing prices. Compare the total with delivery, not just the price, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
