Is the Phantasmal Flames Booster Bundle a good investment?

Modern sealed product is printed in large numbers and is often reprinted, so Phantasmal Flames booster bundles can stay flat or fall for years before supply dries up. Bundles are newer and less collected than boxes or ETBs, so they are mostly bought to open. Watch the price of Mega Charizard X ex, the set's headline card, since sealed Phantasmal Flames tends to move with it.

Only buy a Phantasmal Flames Booster Bundle to hold if you are happy to keep it either way, as prices can fall too. This is not financial advice; see should you buy sealed Pokémon products?

Before you buy

Look closely at the wrapping in the photos. Factory wrap on booster bundles has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it; baggy, shiny or uneven wrap is a common sign of a reseal. Some bundles are sold as loose packs in a bag, so check the photos show the factory-wrapped bundle. Always compare totals with delivery included, and keep sealed product away from sunlight, heat and damp once it arrives.
