Paldean Fates Booster Bundle as an investment

Paldean Fates is out of its main print run, the stage where sealed prices often start to move, but modern sets are printed in large numbers and can be reprinted. Bundles are newer and less collected than boxes or ETBs, so they are mostly bought to open. Much of its sealed value rests on demand for Charizard ex and Mew ex: if those cards rise, unopened product usually follows.

Past prices do not guarantee future ones, and this is not financial advice. Read should you buy sealed Pokémon products? for the pros and cons.

Before you buy

Check the shrink wrap: factory wrap on booster bundles has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it, and loose or glossy wrap can mean a resealed product. At €233.16 it is worth asking for photos of every side and buying from sellers with a long, positive history, since resealed and weighed product is common. Some bundles are sold as loose packs in a bag, so check the photos show the factory-wrapped bundle. Check whether delivery from ebay.com adds import fees, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
