What's inside the Legends Awakened Booster Box

A sealed Legends Awakened Booster Box holds 36 sealed booster packs from Legends Awakened, the full display a shop would open to sell packs one by one.

About Legends Awakened

Featured the lake trio Uxie, Mesprit and Azelf and Regigigas as LV.X cards. Released on 1 August 2008, it belongs to the EX, Diamond & Pearl and HeartGold SoulSilver years, whose sealed product is now scarce. It came out 18 years ago, so most sealed stock has been opened and what is left sits with collectors.

Legends Awakened has 146 cards in its main numbering.

The cards a Legends Awakened Booster Box can hold

The Legends Awakened cards collectors most want to pull are Yanmega, Spiritomb, Regigigas, Rayquaza and Probopass. With 36 packs, a box gives you the most chances at them of any sealed product, though no box is guaranteed to hold any one card.

Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 7 LV.X, 17 Holo Rares and 28 Rares. Prices for every card are on the Legends Awakened set page.

Asking prices are what sellers hope to get, not what booster boxes actually sell for, so treat the cheapest listing as the benchmark for a fair deal.

Price per pack

Is the Legends Awakened Booster Box a good investment?

After 18 years, sealed Legends Awakened booster boxes rarely come up, and prices tend to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks. Booster boxes are the sealed product most collectors hold long term, as they are easy to store and to value. Watch the price of Yanmega, the set's headline card, since sealed Legends Awakened tends to move with it.

Past prices do not guarantee future ones, and this is not financial advice. Read should you buy sealed Pokémon products? for the pros and cons.

Before you buy

Look closely at the wrapping in the photos. Factory wrap on booster boxes has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it; baggy, shiny or uneven wrap is a common sign of a reseal. For a Legends Awakened Booster Box at around €84,208, ask the seller for photos of all sides and stick to accounts with plenty of positive feedback. A full box gives better odds than loose packs, and its value as a sealed item is easier to judge (how to value a sealed booster box). For product this old, ask whether it has been checked by an authenticator: fakes and resealed vintage boxes are made to fool buyers. Check whether delivery from ebay.com adds import fees, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
