What's inside the Furious Fists Booster Box

A sealed Furious Fists Booster Box holds 36 sealed booster packs from Furious Fists, the full display a shop would open to sell packs one by one.

About Furious Fists

A Fighting-themed XY set with Mega Lucario-EX and Mega Heracross-EX. Released on 13 August 2014, it belongs to the Black & White and XY era. It came out 12 years ago, so most sealed stock has been opened and what is left sits with collectors.

Furious Fists has 111 cards in its main numbering, plus 3 secret rares numbered beyond it.

The cards a Furious Fists Booster Box can hold

The Furious Fists cards collectors most want to pull are M Lucario-EX and M Heracross-EX. With 36 packs, a box gives you the most chances at them of any sealed product, though no box is guaranteed to hold any one card.

Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 2 Secret Rares, 14 Ultra Rares and 30 Rares. Prices for every card are on the Furious Fists set page.

These are live asking prices, not completed sales, so a good offer is usually close to the cheapest listing rather than the typical one.

Price per pack

At the typical price, each of the 36 packs in a Furious Fists Booster Box works out at €128.53, compared with €13.54 in a Furious Fists Elite Trainer Box and €128.81 in a Furious Fists Booster Pack. That makes it mid-priced among Furious Fists sealed products.

Is the Furious Fists Booster Box a good investment?

After 12 years, sealed Furious Fists booster boxes rarely come up, and prices tend to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks. Booster boxes are the sealed product most collectors hold long term, as they are easy to store and to value. Watch the price of M Lucario-EX, the set's headline card, since sealed Furious Fists tends to move with it.

Only buy a Furious Fists Booster Box to hold if you are happy to keep it either way, as prices can fall too. This is not financial advice; see should you buy sealed Pokémon products?

Before you buy

Look closely at the wrapping in the photos. Factory wrap on booster boxes has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it; baggy, shiny or uneven wrap is a common sign of a reseal. For a Furious Fists Booster Box at around €4,627, ask the seller for photos of all sides and stick to accounts with plenty of positive feedback. A full box gives better odds than loose packs, and its value as a sealed item is easier to judge (how to value a sealed booster box). Always compare totals with delivery included, and keep sealed product away from sunlight, heat and damp once it arrives.
