Destined Rivals Booster Box guide

What's inside the Destined Rivals Booster Box

Each Destined Rivals Booster Box is a factory-sealed display of 36 sealed booster packs, every one of them from Destined Rivals.

About Destined Rivals

Brought back Team Rocket's Pokémon alongside more Trainer's Pokémon. Released on 30 May 2025, it belongs to the Scarlet & Violet era. It is still a current set, so shops keep restocking it and prices are set by retail supply.

Destined Rivals has 182 cards in its main numbering, plus 62 secret rares numbered beyond it.

The cards a Destined Rivals Booster Box can hold

The Destined Rivals cards collectors most want to pull are Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex. With 36 packs, a box gives you the most chances at them of any sealed product, though no box is guaranteed to hold any one card.

Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 6 Hyper Rares, 11 Special Illustration Rares and 23 Illustration Rares. See every Destined Rivals card price for what each is worth.

Destined Rivals Booster Box as an investment

Modern sealed product is printed in large numbers and is often reprinted, so Destined Rivals booster boxes can stay flat or fall for years before supply dries up. Booster boxes are the sealed product most collectors hold long term, as they are easy to store and to value. Much of its sealed value rests on demand for Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex: if those cards rise, unopened product usually follows.

Past prices do not guarantee future ones, and this is not financial advice. Read should you buy sealed Pokémon products? for the pros and cons.

Before you buy

Check the shrink wrap: factory wrap on booster boxes has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it, and loose or glossy wrap can mean a resealed product. At €496.76 it is worth asking for photos of every side and buying from sellers with a long, positive history, since resealed and weighed product is common. A full box gives better odds than loose packs, and its value as a sealed item is easier to judge (how to value a sealed booster box). Check whether delivery from ebay.com adds import fees, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
