What's inside the Dark Explorers Booster Pack
One sealed Dark Explorers Booster Pack contains 10 cards, with at least one rare, all from Dark Explorers.
About Dark Explorers
A Darkness-themed Black & White set with Darkrai-EX and Tyranitar-EX. Released on 9 May 2012, it belongs to the Black & White and XY era. It came out 14 years ago, so most sealed stock has been opened and what is left sits with collectors.
Dark Explorers has 108 cards in its main numbering, plus 3 secret rares numbered beyond it.
What collectors open Dark Explorers for
The Dark Explorers cards collectors most want to pull are Darkrai-EX and Tyranitar-EX. Any one pack can hold them, but most packs will not: buying the single card is usually cheaper than opening for it.
Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 3 Secret Rares, 6 Ultra Rares and 34 Rares. Prices for every card are on the Dark Explorers set page.

There are 4 matching listings on eBay at the moment (ebay.co.uk from €505.30, ebay.com from €400.57). The lowest total with delivery to Germany is €400.57, against a typical asking price of €505.48.
Asking prices are what sellers hope to get, not what booster packs actually sell for, so treat the cheapest listing as the benchmark for a fair deal.
Is the Dark Explorers Booster Pack a good investment?
After 14 years, sealed Dark Explorers booster packs rarely come up, and prices tend to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks. Single packs are the easiest to resell but also the most likely to have been searched or weighed. Watch the price of Darkrai-EX, the set's headline card, since sealed Dark Explorers tends to move with it.
Past prices do not guarantee future ones, and this is not financial advice. Read should you buy sealed Pokémon products? for the pros and cons.
Before you buy
Look closely at the wrapping in the photos. Factory wrap on packs is tight and crimped evenly at both ends; baggy, shiny or uneven wrap is a common sign of a reseal. For a Dark Explorers Booster Pack at around €505.48, ask the seller for photos of all sides and stick to accounts with plenty of positive feedback. Avoid "weighed" or searched packs from bulk sellers: some sellers weigh packs to pull the holos out first. Check whether delivery from ebay.com adds import fees, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
