Celebrations Booster Bundle guide
What's inside the Celebrations Booster Bundle
The Celebrations Booster Bundle bundles 6 booster packs of Celebrations together, without the extras of an Elite Trainer Box.
Celebrations is a special set with no regular booster box, so booster bundles are one of the main ways to buy it sealed.
About Celebrations
The 25th anniversary set, with a Classic Collection of reprinted iconic cards in every pack. It had no booster box, and its packs hold 4 cards. Released on 8 October 2021, it belongs to the Sword & Shield era, when the collecting boom pushed print runs to record levels. 5 years on, most of its sealed stock has long been opened, and unopened product mostly changes hands between collectors.
Celebrations has 25 cards in its main numbering, and a 25-card Celebrations Classic Collection subset.
Chase cards to look for
The Celebrations cards collectors most want to pull are Charizard and Mew. 6 packs gives a few chances at them for less than a larger box.
Our catalogue lists the set's rarest tiers as 1 Secret Rare, 1 Ultra Rare and 2 VMAX. See every Celebrations card price for what each is worth.
Celebrations Booster Bundle price today
Right now the cheapest Celebrations Booster Bundle on eBay costs €74.98 including delivery to Germany, and the typical asking price across 4 listings is €81.09 (ebay.de from €76.00, ebay.com from €74.98).
Bear in mind these are asking prices rather than sold prices: sellers at the top of the range often accept offers or wait a long time to sell.
Price per pack
At the typical price, each of the 6 packs in a Celebrations Booster Bundle works out at €13.52, compared with €40.21 in a Celebrations Elite Trainer Box and €50.35 in a Celebrations Booster Pack. That makes it the cheapest way to buy Celebrations packs sealed right now.
Celebrations Booster Bundle as an investment
Older sealed product tends to rise as boxes are opened and supply shrinks, and Celebrations is now 5 years past release. Its price still depends on demand for its chase cards and on any reprints. Bundles are newer and less collected than boxes or ETBs, so they are mostly bought to open. Much of its sealed value rests on demand for Charizard and Mew: if those cards rise, unopened product usually follows.
None of this is financial advice: sealed prices can fall as well as rise. Our guide should you buy sealed Pokémon products? weighs up both sides.
Before you buy
Check the shrink wrap: factory wrap on booster bundles has neat seams, often with Pokémon logos printed on it, and loose or glossy wrap can mean a resealed product. Some bundles are sold as loose packs in a bag, so check the photos show the factory-wrapped bundle. Compare the total with delivery, not just the price, and store sealed product flat, out of sunlight and away from damp.
