Character and collecting appeal

Bounsweet can be approached as a character collectible and as an entry in its named release. For set builders, the exact card number matters; for character collectors, it helps distinguish this version from other appearances of the same Pokémon.

Version and identification

Look for the printed number #7 and the Japanese Snow Hazard set symbol to confirm you have this exact card, and check the text is Japanese.

Price history

Today an ungraded Bounsweet #7 sells for about €1.04. We have monthly prices for this card going back to May 2023. Over the last 12 months ungraded copies are down 17%, and flat in the last month. Its highest monthly ungraded value was €2.23 in May 2023, so it is 53% below that peak. PSA 10 copies have moved down 10% over the same 12 months.

Investment potential

In its favour: a price well below its May 2023 peak, which some collectors see as room to recover. Against it: falling prices, down 17% in a year; large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Past prices do not guarantee future ones. This is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €1.04 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less. Modern cards often leave the pack with print lines or surface scratches, so check the surface under a light (spotting surface scratches). Ask for clear photographs of both sides, verify the exact release and variant, and check for damage that may not appear in the listing title.
