Exeggcute #1

Exeggcute #1 collector guide

About Exeggcute #1

Exeggcute is card #1 from Japanese Paradise Dragona, a Japanese-language release, released on September 13, 2024. It is part of the Scarlet & Violet era (2023 onwards). Ungraded, it ranks 85th of the 96 Japanese Paradise Dragona cards we track. The top card is Latias EX #87 at €133.53.

Character and collecting appeal

Exeggcute can be approached as a character collectible and as an entry in its named release. For set builders, the exact card number matters; for character collectors, it helps distinguish this version from other appearances of the same Pokémon.

Version and identification

Look for the printed number #1 and the Japanese Paradise Dragona set symbol to confirm you have this exact card, and check the text is Japanese.

Price history

Today an ungraded Exeggcute #1 sells for about €1.18, a PSA 9 for €10.78 and a PSA 10 for €31.50. We have monthly prices for this card going back to October 2024. Over the last 12 months ungraded copies are up 8%, and flat in the last month. Its highest monthly ungraded value was €1.34 in December 2024, so it is 12% below that peak. PSA 10 copies have moved sideways over the same 12 months.

Grading and population

A PSA 10 sells for 26.7× the ungraded price and 2.9× a PSA 9. That gap is small, so grading fees may outweigh the gain unless the card is for your own collection.

Investment potential

Against it: large modern print runs, which tend to cap prices unless a card becomes iconic. Card prices can fall as well as rise, so this is not financial advice.

Before you buy

Expect to pay around €1.18 for a clean ungraded copy; played copies sell for less, and a PSA 9 costs about €10.78. Modern cards often leave the pack with print lines or surface scratches, so check the surface under a light (spotting surface scratches). Ask for clear photographs of both sides, verify the exact release and variant, and check for damage that may not appear in the listing title.
