Koga's Ninja Trick

Japanese Challenge from the Darkness
Release Date June 25, 1999Notes Uncommon
Artwork banned in the US. Why? "... the swastika, which has a long history in countless religions and cultures including Japanese Buddhism, where it has been used both as a symbol for Buddhism in general and as a multi-purpose decorative motif. Which is how we get a left-facing swastika in the card Koga's Ninja Trick. Obviously this wasn't okay for an English-language card, so The Pokémon Company simply covered the swastika with another symbol." - Peter Day [https://www.tcgplayer.com/content/article/12-Pok%C3%A9mon-Cards-that-Got-Censored-and-Why/f78cf71a-e241-42d1-be65-6ee9b44f31cc/]
